Life is a cup of coffee

Well, once again a metaphor of life but this time it is coffee love ❤️️! But guess what, this post won’t talk about any love for the coffee  (Aww..sad !!) rather will compare coffee with life (Oh! that’s interesting 😀).

Life is a cup of coffee. Here, the coffee represents life and the cup represents all the not needed things including all the materialistic needs. Basically, the coffee is the actual content of the life with all its flavors and nuances. The cup doesn’t matter. But, coffee does! Rather than focusing on the cup and how it looks on the outside, we should be taking our time enjoying what’s on the inside, THE delicious coffee – a beautiful life. Cup is just a tool to hold and contain Life, and the type of cup we have does not define, nor change the quality of life we live. Likewise, no cup can make the coffee delicious. It’s all in how we make it. But, then it’s your choice of the cup and it’s your stress of your life. Too often,  we compare our cups to other people’s cups and feel critical, judgmental and even frustrated/angry. We believe life is the cup, not the coffee. But we have to pay attention to the substance of life independent of the container it is placed in. The point is you don’t always need the best, prettiest, or most expensive cups to enjoy coffee. Because the happiest people don’t have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything.

Such as life, the coffee can only be tasted in the present moment. The purpose of coffee is to drink it, to experience the taste to the utmost and to reach out eagerly for the richer experience just like the Life. But this purpose is often confused by busy watching out for what’s just ahead of us rather than taking the time to enjoy where we are.  We tend to forget to appreciate each moment in order to make plans for the future.  At last, the conclusion is – Savor the coffee, not the cups! Learn to Love, Learn to Cherish! Learn to live in the present moment. Life is now. Drink up! ☕
